Del Costello | Founder, Writer & Education Consultant
Del Costello is the founder of Telling Your Stories and Coactive Education, a writer, educator and professional learning specialist with a deep interest in the power of story to shape how we understand ourselves, each other and the places we belong.
Her work sits at the intersection of storytelling, literacy, identity and learning. Through Telling Your Stories, Del works alongside schools, communities, iwi and hapū to uncover the stories held in people and place, then shape them into rich, accessible narratives for tamariki and rangatahi.
As both a writer and professional learning facilitator, Del helps educators think beyond story as simply something we read. She explores how narrative can become a way into language, history, belonging, curiosity and deeper learning across the curriculum.
At the heart of her work is a simple belief: when we know the stories of a place, we begin to see it differently, and we begin to understand our own place within it.
