Introduction to TESA. Teaching Expertise Scaffold and Analytic

Story and links to community learning is well evidenced through the research of Incept Lab. Their 5 stages of teaching underpin the roll out of the Kōrero Paki model with specific reference to 1.2 Learning is placed within a meaningful context with clear links to how and why it is important.

Learners are encouraged to understand their own and others’ contexts, and how the learning relates to them. Ideas are tested for relevance and applicability. Critical thinking is encouraged, generalisations are challenged, and alternative views explored.
